Capito The Capybara (El Carpincho) 2025 Demo Beta is out!

We're excited to share an early look at Capito el Carpincho! In this game, you'll join a determined capybara, compelled by the call of primordial spirits, on an urgent quest to clean the ecosystem and eradicate pollution. This isn't just a game; it's a vital mission we hope you'll help us with.

Capito el Carpincho draws its inspiration directly from the rich Fauna and Flora of Corrientes, Argentina, bringing a unique flavor to the gameplay. This project is a complete remaster of a 2020 alpha version I developed, which you can explore here: https://mepeldiez.itch.io/capito-el-carpincho

This initial demo is available now for Windows (with a Linux version on the way!). The current language is Spanish, but we're actively working on adding English subtitles and UI. Plus, for a smoother experience, joystick compatibility is already implemented!

In the next version, the machines will enter in the map, and finally, Capito will have the power to attack!!!
